Examples of Teen Film Posters

   


      What do all of these posters have in common? They all portray the main protagonist/character(s) on the front cover with simple and minimal background design (with the small exception of Stand By Me).Why are they all following this style of poster design? Well,I believe that the designers did this to convey a sense of simplicity in their films/stories,simple in the sense that it could take place in our reality as it stands.Stand By Me follows this a bit more leniently primarily because of the over-exaggeration of some of the events that take place within it.
