Time for Funding
Obviously,to get a film made, funded, and produced you would need a financing or a production company to aid the filmmaker in doing so.However not every company would be willing to take on every project.Certain companies are only looking for a specific genre or niche of films to fund/produce.For example,87Eleven productions produces mainly action/drama films such as "John Wick" (1 & 2), "Jurassic World",and "Jupiter Ascending",meaning they might not be too keen on financially backing a romantic-comedy style film.On the other hand Archer Gray Productions produces films of the drama/romance/slight-comedy genre, producing films like "20th Century Women" (which I recommend),"Ten Thousand Saints",and "Greetings From Tim Buckley",meaning this company would be much more considerate of a film of our caliber and/or genre take.
This production company is definitely a contender for a company that we'd want to persuade into backing our film financially, especially after seeing what other films they have produced in the past.
